The TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 stands out for its robust performance and solid design. It's slightly bulkier at 3.65 slots compared to the ROG version, yet its 348mm length ensures compatibility with a variety of cases. It boasts superior performance, cooling, and power management features.
This model features a die-cast unibody shroud connected to an aluminum backplate, enhancing structural integrity and preventing PCB sagging, without compromising airflow. It sports an updated 3D acrylic TUF logo with ARGB lighting that syncs with Aura Sync, and includes a detachable velcro loop for better cable organization. The backplate's large vent, coupled with the improved Axial-tech fans, increases airflow by 20% over the previous TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3090 Ti model.
The cooling system has been revamped with a new vapor chamber that significantly enhances heat dissipation. Although it differs from the Strix model's milled design, its eight heatpipes—five 8mm and three 6mm—greatly increase cooling efficiency, offering 35% more contact area than the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3090. Users can toggle between performance and quiet modes using the Dual BIOS switch or fine-tune the card's performance with the GPU Tweak III software.
For power, the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 utilizes the new 16-pin power connector from the PCIe 5.0 standard, ensuring a strong power delivery system with 20K-rated capacitors and a 10+4 high-current power stage layout. The Auto-Extreme manufacturing process guarantees durability, living up to the TUF reputation and ensuring the card's longevity for gaming excellence in the years ahead.
